Coventry Township Zoning Commission

THE COVENTRY TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION

 

The Coventry Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday February 15th, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Coventry Township Hall, 68 Portage Lakes Dr., Coventry Township, OH 44319, to consider the following zoning amendments/text revisions:

 

Steven Morris, 4315 W 196th St., Fairview Park, OH 44126- Requesting a change in zoning classification for Summit County Parcels #1909647 & 1907510. Located on the west side of S Main St. and south of Interstate 277, parcel #1909647 contains 4.36 acres of land and parcel #1907510 contains 5.14 acres of land. Both parcels are currently vacant. The request involves the rezoning of property currently zoned both B-3 General Business to C/I Commercial Industrial.  The proposed use of the property is flex space and self-storage space. No final decision will be made by the zoning commission at this initial public hearing.  The request will be forwarded to the Summit County Planning Commission for their recommendation before returning to the Zoning Commission for further action.

 

Zoning Resolution Text Revision/Addition to Definitions Section and Article 23-The Coventry Township Zoning Commission (ZC) recommended a text revision to the zoning resolution (Definitions and Article 23) regarding portable storage containers at a public hearing on September 21st, 2021.  The Summit County Planning Commission approved the proposed text revisions, with comments and recommendations, at the January 27th, 2022 monthly meeting.  The zoning commission will consider the revisions at a 2nd public hearing before submitting the proposal to the Coventry Township Board of Trustees for final action.
