The Board of Trustees approved a new contract in conjunction with the City of Green, City of New Franklin and Republic Waste Services on February 24, 2022. A five year contract will be effective April 1, 2022, ending March 31, 2026.  PLEASE SEE THE LINK BELOW FOR UPDATED RATE INFORMATION.

Used Tire Recycling Program

Know what to throw

Piece of cardboard, metal can, and plastic bottleCardboard, paper, metal cans, plastic bottles and jugs.

Empty. Clean. Dry.

Keep all recyclables free of food and liquid.

Don’t bag it

Never put recyclables in containers or bags.

Paper & Cardboard

Flattened cardboard, newspapers, magazines, office paper and common mail.

Metal Cans

Beverage and food cans.

Plastic Bottles & Jugs

Food and liquid containers with the lids on.

The following items CAN NOT be recycled and should go in your regular trash container:

Chairs, gas tanks, batteries, wood, lawn mowers, light bulbs, doors, lawn furniture, children’s unwanted toys, swimming pool liners, windows, beds, microwaves, swing sets, flower pots, paper products, plastic bags, styrofoam, food, drywall, plumbing.
