THE COVENTRY TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION
The Coventry Township Zoning Commission, 68 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, Ohio 44319 will hold a public hearing on Tuesday December 15th, 2020 at 7:00 PM via Zoom, a web based video teleconferencing provider (see info below on login) to consider the following request:
David Pelligra & Architects, Inc., 2231 Broad BLVD., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 representing ANR Electric, 3783 State Rd., Akron, OH 44319;
Requesting a change in zoning classification for Summit County Parcel 1907846. Located on the west side of Manchester Road bounded by 3808 Manchester Road on the north and 3856 Manchester Road on the south and containing 3.6 Acres of land. This land is currently owned by Carter Jones Lumber, 601 Tallmadge Avenue, Kent, OH 44240.
This request involves the rezoning of currently zoned B-3 General Business property to C/I Commercial/Industrial. The proposal is for additional office and warehouse space for an expansion of business services for ANR Electric located at 3783 State Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
The Zoning Commission has initiated a proposed change in the zoning classification for this parcel based on the application submitted by Dave Pelligra & Architects, Inc. and ANR Electric. The Zoning Commission will consider the recommendation of the Summit County Planning Commission. The Summit County Planning Commission voted to approve the change in zoning classification for this parcel at the November 19th, 2020 monthly meeting. After a decision by the Zoning Commission, this proposed change in zoning classification will be submitted to the Coventry Township Board of Trustees for final action at a public hearing.
