The Coventry Township Board of Zoning Appeals, 68 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, Ohio, 44319, will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday December 1st at 6:00 PM  VIA ZOOM, a web-based video teleconferencing provider, to consider the following requests:

2020-33 Victor Vatalaro, 261 Dorwil Dr., Akron, OH 44319-Requesting a sideline setback variance of 1.5 feet from the required 8 feet to construct a covered pavilion on an existing deck 6.5 feet from the property line for a property located in a R-3 zoning district at 261 Dorwil Dr., Akron, OH 44319 (8.03 C)

2020-34 Mike Sikora, 269 Aqua BLVD., Akron, OH 44319-Requesting a front setback variance of 55 feet from the required 60 feet to build a 24’x36’, detached garage 5 feet from the property line (to replace an existing 22’x20’ garage).  Also requesting a floor space variance of 96 sq/ft from the required 768 sq/ft for the new 864 sq/ft garage for a property located in a R-1 zoning district at 269 Aqua BLVD., Akron, OH 44319 (6.03A, H)

2020-35 William Elias, 24 Whitefriars Dr., Akron, OH 44319-Requesting a conditional use permit to operate a short-term rental unit for a property located in a R-1 zoning district at 24 Whitefriars Dr., Akron, OH 44319 (Article 28).
